2004/05 - The mastery of graphite, a noble and ductile
material, has allowed the artist to create an outstanding
impression of fleeing elements, flying towards an unknown
and illusory dimension. |

2003 - Gilardenghi has resorted to his well-equipped drawing
arsenal to create a superb work that cleverly avoids common
grounds-a frequent temptation in this area-and finds its
answer in a sound aesthetic conception. |

2002 - Through elaborated yet spontaneous and vibrant
baroque images, Carlo Gilardenghi demonstrates his creative
mastery. He always rises the possibility to think of his
works as allusions to human beings and their environment.
He attempts to articulate his expressive world in two
definitely set stages-at the first one he formulates a
constructive synthesis, while at the other thoroughly
meditated contents appear.
Each work owns isomorphous components that help a pattern to
easily emerge-a microcosm in itself. From this microcosm
Carlo Gilardenghi draws out both an alert aesthetic
perception and an ever increasing creation freedom supported
by hard work and mystical vehemence. |
